Nice additional coverage for motorcycle owners: Trip Interruption Coverage

Next time your motorcycle insurance comes up for renewal, call me and ask about Trip Interruption coverage.

Basically, it pays for your temporary living expenses and transportation when
your motorcycle breaks down or is disabled due to a claim and you are 100 miles or more from your home. And the nice thing, it costs only $5 a year.

The company we use provides coverage if your bike is disabled due to a covered claim or a mechanical breakdown. (many other insurance companies don’t cover mechanical breakdowns!)

An example would be: If you are over 100 miles from your primary residence, you’ll receive up to $100 a day for lodging, $50 a day for meals, and $50 a day for alternative transportation all that up to $500 total per occurrence.

Pretty good deal for people that travel on their motorcycles.
